KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 24): Gather Properties Sdn Bhd is excited about working with EdgeProp after signing a collaboration deal as the former feels the portal can be a big boost to its presence in the real estate segment.

“A massive website such as EdgeProp.my can help us stand out from the crowd,” said Gather Properties licence holder and managing director Vincent Tan Voon Choon.

“Based on my research, I understand that the goal of EdgeProp is to provide consumers with the information they need to make better real estate decisions, by fusing real estate listings with the most recent news, information on home prices, local knowledge, and cutting-edge tools.

“This makes us even more excited to work with it because we know it'll be able to equip our agents with all these to share with our customers,” said Tan.

He added the collaboration will also provide exposure to Gather Properties and encourage more traffic to it.

“Our agents will definitely benefit from the information that EdgeProp can share about housing tips, as well as knowledge about economics, regulations, construction, design, strategy, marketing, and negotiations,” Tan said.

“Considering how EdgeProp.my provides property news, as well as hundreds of thousands of properties for sale and rent with detailed information such as past transacted prices, maps, and photos, as well as tools such as the Edge Reference Price, Past Transacted Prices, Home Advisor Report, and Area and Project insights, we are confident that its support will make it easier for our agents,” he added.

“And let us not forget about our clients, they will also benefit by having the resources required to make more informed property decisions.”

Gather Properties was established in 2014 with its headquarters in Petaling Jaya, Selangor and over 10 branches in Malaysia, namely Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Ipoh, Penang, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Johor Bahru, as well as incoming branches in Sabah and Sarawak.

“Our goal is to assist everyone to achieve his or her real estate dream in a simple and joyful way by giving the best services possible, as well as to provide the best and most customisable real estate platform that fulfils everyone's needs. EdgeProp can help us in this,” Tan said.

Signing on behalf of EdgeProp was business development head Nimalen Parimalam, who was impressed by Tan’s knowledge of the tools available from the portal.

“Vincent has done his research about us and is no doubt impressed, hence the signing of this collaboration,” Nimalen said.

“EdgeProp’s platform, tools and capabilities are multi-faceted and Gather Properties will, without a doubt, stand to benefit greatly by using it.

“We have worked hard to push the envelope by introducing technology into the real estate segment and are happy that Gather Properties will join us in our efforts,” he added.
