Nga Kor Ming appointed as Local Government minister
- Nga is Member of Parliament for Teluk Intan, Perak.
KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 2): Member of Parliament for Teluk Intan, Perak and state assemblyman for Kepayang, Perak, Nga Kor Ming, 50, has been named as the minister of Local Government in the Cabinet of the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He is also the national vice-chairman of the Democratic Action Party and Perak chairman of the same party.
Nga was born in Kota Bharu, Kelantan but lived mostly in Ayer Tawar, Perak.
He is a lawyer by profession, receiving his Bachelor of Laws from Universiti Malaya.
He is married with three children.
