TAFI Industries wins RM205 mil job to build 941 Soho units in Subang Jaya

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 29): TAFI Industries Bhd's unit has secured a RM205 million contract to build 941 units of Small Office Home Office (Soho) and related facilities in Subang Jaya, Selangor for the project's main contractor, Metbuild Sdn Bhd.

Additionally, the group's wholly owned subsidiary TA Furniture & Projects Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the project management consultant by the project's developer, Pinnacle Homes SJ CBD Sdn Bhd.

TAFI Industries said both contracts, namely the construction and project management consultation, span 34 months and are expected to contribute positively to its earnings until the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025.

TAFI Industries chief executive officer Datuk Seri Bryan Wong said the group will continue working towards growing its revenue stream from construction contracts by tendering and securing more jobs from both the private and also the government sectors.

Shares of TAFI Industries closed four sen or 6.2% higher at 68.5 sen on Thursday (Dec 29), giving it a market capitalisation of RM259.91 million.
