KUALA LUMPUR (March 9): 168 Park Selayang Sdn Bhd has officially launched the sales gallery for the 168 Park Selayang development in Jalan Kuching here.

Formerly known as Selayang Star City, the 168 Park Selayang development was previously developed by Leadmont Group offering three high-rise residential towers, a serviced suites block and a mall. The first phase, with over 600 designer suites in Block C, was launched in 2014, before the project was eventually abandoned in 2017.

The High Court granted permission for Infra Segi Sdn Bhd — the parent company of 168 Park Selayang Sdn Bhd — to relaunch the project. The project was subsequently renamed 168 Park Selayang.

In a press release on Thursday (March 9), 168 Park Selayang Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Edward Lum noted that this development is set to appeal to first-time homebuyers eyeing affordable properties located close to the Kuala Lumpur city centre, with a variety of units that presents potential homeowners with a wide selection to suit their lifestyle and budget.

The two remaining high-rise residential towers, Block A and B, will comprise 1,433 units. Units in Block A come in eight sizes, ranging from 560 to 1050 sq ft, with a starting price of RM297,000. Meanwhile, Block B units come in four sizes.

“We are in a unique position to provide friendly pricing due to our contractor background. By leveraging our knowledge of the construction process and using efficient building practices, we are able to pass on substantial savings to our customers. The residential units offer holistic, sustainable, and integrated lifestyles without compromising quality and convenience,” Lum said.

“One of the key highlights of 168 Park Selayang is its high accessibility via Jalan Kuching, the Middle Ring Road 2, DUKE (Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway) and the Kepong-Selayang Highway. With a starting price of just RM297,000, buyers can live in a strategically located, modern, nature-friendly unit. We are already seeing positive interest towards the development since the gallery launched," he added.

Designed to be aligned with the market’s desire for a wellness-centred lifestyle, 168 Park Selayang offers 25 retreat-inspired facilities including a reflexology path, childcare centre, herb garden, water playground, swimming pool, and a barbecue area.

The development's two-level neighbourhood mall, which will span 235,000 sq ft, aims to offer a vibrant and convenient social hub for the wider community.
