KUALA LUMPUR (April 3): PPB Properties has unveiled the Lumina Bedong township development in Bedong, Kedah. The township has an estimated gross development value of RM900 million and is expected to complete by 2035.

As the first township development in Bedong, PPB Properties CEO Low Eng Hooi is optimistic that Lumina Bedong will transform Bedong.

“With the development of Lumina Bedong, we are set to reinvigorate and transform the landscape of Bedong. We hope to drive the area’s socioeconomic landscape through our residential, commercial and recreational components. We are confident that Lumina Bedong will develop into a vibrant township in the coming future, making it a key locality in Kedah,” he added.

A total of 221 units of 1.5-storey and one-storey terrace houses will be launched in the first phase with 2.5 acres of thematic park consisting of a futsal court, jogging trail, outdoor gym and children play land. 

Sitting on a 228-acre of freehold land, the entire township will have an approximate of 1,500 units of affordable landed homes with a commercial hub spanning across 23 acres and recreational facilities such as jogging and cycling tracks, reflexology path and children play area in a 5.6-acre central park upon its completion.

The township is well-connected to Bandar Sungai Petani with its location situated along the main road of Jalan Utama Alor Setar-Sungai Petani.
