KUALA LUMPUR (April 7): YNH Property Bhd plans to launch a mixed-use development in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan this quarter.

In a press release on Friday (April 7), the developer said it had recently obtained a development order from the Kuala Pilah District Council (Majlis Daerah Kuala Pilah or MDKP) for 2,200 units of mixed development township. First to be launched will be Phase One, which will consist of 500 residential units.

The RM600 million development is envisioned to become an economic growth catalyst for the area, while catering to the strong demand for quality yet affordable homes. General manager James Ngio noted that the development order is an important milestone for YNH as it marks the developer's entry into Negeri Sembilan.

"We look forward to bringing our proven expertise as well as strong track record in township development to the state and we are confident that this new township will contribute towards positive socio-economic growth," he added.

“The development of the Kuala Pilah township is expected to contribute positively to the group’s performance over the next five years. This project will also solidify our reputation as a developer of choice for successful townships."

The project masterplan, which is currently being finalised, will focus on sustainability, encompassing the "Live, Work, Play" concept.
