PETALING JAYA (July 17): Tropicana Aman saw a 100% take-up for its new business hub, with the proposed name “Umara”, even before its grand launch.

The 13.5-acre business hub in Kota Kemuning will offer 2 and 3-storey shop offices with a gross development value of RM264 million, featuring built-ups from 3,360 sq ft to 8,133 sq ft, double volume ceilings and dual frontage for selected units, stated developer Tropicana Corp Bhd in a media release. One hundred units were made available before the official launch.

Also of note was the official opening of the Tropicana Aman Property Gallery at the Tropicana Aman Recreational Hub.

“As a community builder, Tropicana understands the importance of fostering a self-sustaining township with complementary commercial spaces to drive growth, expansion and footfall,” said Ixora Ang, executive director, Marketing & Sales and Business Development.

“The new business hub follows in the footsteps of earlier successful launches in Tropicana Aman such as Triana and Sinaria, and its success speaks to how these offerings have enriched Kota Kemuning’s outlook with vibrant tenant mixes, placing everything within reach for residents and visitors. At the same time, the new property gallery will showcase our offerings with an enhanced and seamless property experience at the Tropicana Aman Recreational Hub, as we continue Redefining the Art of Engagement,” she added.

The new business hub will comprise nine commercial blocks offering shop office in five layouts and a gross development value of RM264 million. Lot sizes range from 24’ x 70’ to 37’ x 90’. Shop offices in the new business hub are priced from RM1.97 million.

“In line with Tropicana’s development DNA emphasising generous open spaces, end and corner lots in the development will come with double volume ceilings, as well as lift access to all levels for corner lots,” stated Tropicana Corp.

The new business hub will offer three entry points for easy access to residents and visitors, as well as connectivity to major routes such as the Elite, SKVE, Kesas and LKSA Expressways, with a ready catchment population of 500,000 within a 10km radius.

The commercial phase also leverages on the pull factors of Tropicana Aman, including an 85-acre Central Park, which serves as a green lung with abundant recreational spaces and lakeside pavilions. Two educational institutions, namely Tenby International School and SJKC Bukit Fraser nearby, cater for the growing needs of the community.
