IJM Land to launch Daffodil Residency apartment in Bandar Alam Suria in October

KUALA LUMPUR (July 25): IJM Land Bhd plans to launch its latest mid-rise residential apartment named Daffodil Residency in its Bandar Alam Suria township on Monday (Oct 2). 

Bandar Suria Alam is a RM3.6 billion, 1,163-acre township located in Puncak Alam, Selangor, comprising residential and commercial components. To date, 60% of the township has been completed. 

A press statement on Tuesday (July 25) said Daffodil Residency will be spread across a 7.88-acre parcel in Phase 5A11 of the township’s master plan. The development will be built with sustainable construction practices and it has already obtained a GreenRE Bronze assessment certification.

With a gross development value (GDV) of RM124 million, the 18-storey tower will house 354 units. There will be 14 units on the ground floor and 20 units on each of the remaining 17 floors. The units come with a balcony and will have built-ups starting from 850 sq ft, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The starting price is at RM340,000. Each unit comes with two open car park bays.

In the statement, IJM Land’s senior general manager Chai Kian Soon said, “Daffodil Residency fulfills a vital need in the community by offering modest housing options for newcomers, either individuals or families, who are attracted to the ongoing development in the area. This addresses the diverse housing needs within the area, ensuring that individuals from various income levels find a suitable home.”

Chai added that units in Daffodil Residency have practical layouts complemented by surrounding landscapes. “The carefully planned landscaping enhances the overall aesthetic appeal and allows residents to immerse themselves in the natural beauty surrounding them.”

The statement also pointed out that Daffodil Residency will have an L-shaped structure and an open and cross-ventilated concept that helps maximise air circulation within the apartment.

The facilities include swimming and wading pool, jacuzzi, gymnasium, badminton courts, playground area for young children and a surau. The apartment is also under 24-hour CCTV surveillance from the guardhouse onwards and is guarded by six-foot-high anti-climb perimeter fencing. It will also have electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in its car park.

Nearby amenities include the 11-acre IJM Land Central Park, Universiti Teknologi Mara's (UiTM) hospital and university campus. 

Daffodil Residency is also accessible via highways and road networks such as Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari, New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Elite Expressway, Federal Highway, Guthrie Corridor Expressway, Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (Latar), Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (Dash), and the upcoming West Coast Expressway.
