• AWC said its unit Qudotech Sdn Bhd had on Aug 2 accepted the letter of award from CBTech (M) Sdn Bhd for the project's water and sanitary plumbing system and rainwater downpipe system for CB Land Sdn Bhd.

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 3): A unit of AWC Bhd has been awarded sub-contract works for a multi-block mixed development in Klang, Selangor, from a unit of Crest Builder Holdings Bhd worth RM10.01 million.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, AWC said its unit Qudotech Sdn Bhd had on Aug 2 accepted the letter of award from CBTech (M) Sdn Bhd for the project's water and sanitary plumbing system and rainwater downpipe system for CB Land Sdn Bhd.

The engineering services provider said Qudotech will supply, deliver, install, test and commission the systems.

The sub-contract works commenced on July 1, 2023 and would be completed by June 30, 2026.

AWC's share price closed half a sen or 0.96% lower at 51.5 sen on Thursday, valuing the group at RM166.18 million.

Crest Builder’s shares settled half a sen or 1.06% higher at 47.5 sen, bringing it a market capitalisation of RM84.04 million.
