KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 30): Jaya Grocer has launched its largest store at Eco Galleria in Taman Eko Botani, Iskandar Puteri, Johor, in celebration of Merdeka Day. According to a press release issued on Wednesday, the supermarket covers an area of 35,000 sq ft.

“We’re thankful for the tremendous support by our customers at our Johor stores in Austin Heights, Sunway Citrine and R&F Mall, so we’re happy to invest further into expanding our network in the state,” said Jaya Grocer chief executive officer Adelene Foo.

The launch is accompanied by a promotional campaign titled “Discovery Journey”, where customers can participate in games to win prizes, be offered samples of different products such as Grab Signature Brand sambal and quality imported Australian products under a collaboration with Coles of Australia. The promotion is until Sept 3.

Similar to Jaya Grocer’s other stores, the Eco Galleria outlet also offers online shopping via GrabMart.
