Sime Darby Property’s Cantara Residences and Elmina Central Park recognised for its green initiatives

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 26): Sime Darby Property Bhd has been recognised for its environmental-friendly efforts in Cantara Residences, Ara Damansara and Elmina Central Park, City of Elmina. 

According to a press statement dated Sept 26, Cantara Residences was awarded a gold rating in the Residential New Construction category by Green Building Index (GBI) while Elmina Central Park has attained Level II arboretum by ArbNet Arboretum Accreditation Programme and The Morton Arboretum after surpassing the minimum requirement of 100 species of woody plants and providing valuable service to the public through various education and awareness initiatives.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to driving progressive action and being the leading voice in keeping sustainability at the core of real estate,” said Sime Darby Property Bhd group managing director Datuk Azmir Merican.

He added that Sime Darby Property will continue to emphasise sustainability elements in its developments and collaborate with partners who have the expertise to safeguard and conserve the environment.
