KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 17): Desa ParkCity has emerged the inaugural winner of Malaysia’s Most Outstanding Sustainable Township Award as well as the Green Development Award at the recent Malaysia Urban Planning Awards 2023 (MUPA 2023) organised by the Town and Planning Department (PLANMalaysia).

MUPA 2023 is held to acknowledge developers who establish eco-friendly environments that are innovative and socially inclusive, based on the six key pillars of the MADANI urban concept: sustainability, prosperity, innovation, respect, trust, and compassion.

ParkCity Group CEO Datuk Joseph Lau said PLANMalaysia’s recognition underscores ParkCity’s commitment to sustainability, which is very much ingrained in the group’s brand DNA.

“We are dedicated to being a conscientious lifestyle developer, crafting townships that are centred around creating lifetime communities and ensuring their holistic needs are met,” said Lau.

Desa ParkCity is a self-contained urban township planned for wholesome community living that is supported by ample amenities located within walking distance. “It is a showcase of the ParkCity Group’s unwavering commitment towards our vision and mission of building quality products and liveable communities,” added Lau.
