KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 31): Haily Group Bhd has bagged a RM45.8 million contract to build 120 double-storey houses in Kulai, Johor, from a subsidiary of IOI Properties Bhd.

Half of the units will be built under the first phase of the project, which is to be completed in 15 months from Feb 19, while the remaining units will be built under phase two and to take another 15 months, Haily said in a bourse filing.

Its unit Haily Construction Sdn Bhd accepted the letter of award for the job from RDC Arkitek Sdn Bhd, who is acting on behalf of Property Village Bhd, which is 99.9 %-owned by IOI Properties. 

Haily closed unchanged at 42 sen on Wednesday, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM75 million.
