Tropicana teams up with Vitahealth, Hazukido to bring Lunar New Year joy to old folks and children

PETALING JAYA (Feb 6): Tropicana Foundation, the charity arm of Tropicana Corporation Bhd teamed up with subsidiary Tropicana Golf & Country Resort and partners, Vitahealth and Hazukido to bring joy to 200 old folks and children in four homes here.

Tropicana Golf & Country Resort chefs and kitchen staff whipped up fresh seabass, vegetables and tofu dishes, which were packed and distributed to the homes by committee members and volunteers.

Vitahealth donated more than RM16,000 worth of vitamins to the children, old folks and caretakers.

Meanwhile, Hazukido, a Japanese brand famous for its baked products, provided freshly made pastries. Red packets were also given out as a token of good health and happiness.

“Since its inception in 2021, Tropicana Foundation has reached out and donated more than RM26 million to various causes. To us, nothing could be more meaningful than celebrating Chinese New Year by giving back to the community. We are pleased to team up with our subsidiary Tropicana Golf & Country Resort together with our sponsors Vitahealth and Hazukido. We are thankful to all our generous sponsors, Tropicana Foundation committee members and volunteers who have contributed their time and efforts to raise various funds from cash, food, vitamins to dry goods, for the old folks and children,” said Dion Tan, group managing director of Tropicana
