KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 27): TuJu @ Duta North is set to be launched this Sunday (March 3), with 10 layout configuration choices for its homebuyers in Kuala Lumpur.

Developed on a 4.52-acre site by Distinctive World Sdn Bhd, the project marks the maiden development by the joint venture between Distinctive Capital Sdn Bhd and Eccaz Sdn Bhd. 

The 41-storey twin towers consist of 932 units with built-ups ranging from 710 sq ft (studio) to 1,442 sq ft (dual-key unit) and 38 retail lots. 

Distinctive World chief executive officer and executive director Lim Ech Chan hopes for (TuJu) “to be the catalyst that will spearhead the rejuvenation of the whole of Segambut industrial area”.

“We try to meet almost every modern homebuyer’s desire, so our layout is designed to be configurable. The result is we have 10 options for people to choose from. Even our basic units can be configured into three rooms from the standard two rooms,” he said in a media preview today.

Some units feature senior-friendly designs that can be interconnected with regular units. Additionally, disabled-friendly units offer dedicated amenities such as wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and panic buttons.

“The name [TuJu] is derived from our national language, meaning direction or loosely, destination,” said executive director Monica Lai, adding that by providing a conducive environment for harmonious living, it is aimed to serve as a destination for the community..

The condo features 50 facilities, including a basketball court, badminton court cum multipurpose hall, playground, sauna, swimming pools, Jaccuzi, camping garden, games room, sky dining space, reading lounges and hammock garden.

TuJu @ Duta North is accessible via Jalan Kuching, as well as the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE), Projek Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan (PLUS), System of Traffic Dispersal in Western Kuala Lumpur (SPRINT), New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Damansara Link and Penchala Link.

With an expected gross development value of RM750 million, unit prices start from RM386,000, while the retail units at the annex block are priced at an average RM1,000 psf.  

Distinctive World said the company is founded by four seasoned veterans in property development, including director Datuk Dr. David Koh and executive director Chan Chee Kian.
