Avaland tops out Casa Embun Phase 1 in Cybersouth

KUALA LUMPUR (March 13): Avaland Bhd (formerly known as MCT Bhd) topped out its Casa Embun Phase 1 in Cybersouth on Wednesday. A press statement on Wednesday said the project has achieved a take-up rate of 99% since its launch in 1Q2023.

With a gross development value (GDV) of RM209 million, Casa Embun Phase 1 comprises 482 serviced apartment units with built-ups ranging from 550 sq ft to 1,541 sq ft and selling prices starting from RM250,000 as well as 16 retail units. Avaland also expects to complete the project ahead of schedule by 1Q2025.

Avaland CEO Apollo Bello Tanco attributed this achievement to the meticulous planning of the project. He added: "Topping out Phase 1 of Casa Embun ahead of schedule underscores our team's unwavering dedication to precision in development planning. This achievement reflects our commitment as we continue to enhance the Cybersouth township.”

Following the positive demand for the project, the statement added that Avaland recently launched Phase 2 of Casa Embun that has a GDV of RM202 million. This phase will comprise 505 serviced apartment units sized from 550 sq ft to 1,541 sq ft. With prices starting from RM250,000, these residential units come in two layouts of either two bedrooms and one bathroom or three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Facilities within the Casa Embun development include a multipurpose pavilion with BBQ facilities and outdoor dining, playground, 25-metre swimming pool, children’s wading pool, gymnasium, sports facilities such as futsal and badminton courts, 0.9km jogging path and electric vehicle charging facilities.

Meanwhile, Apollo also revealed Avaland’s plans for 2024: "As we expect to complete four projects with a total GDV of RM1.7 billion over the next 18 months, we will focus on managing and monitoring all of our ongoing projects.
