• Rehda Selangor chairman Datuk Zaini Yusoff said that Mapex Selangor 2024 will bring the latest offerings of real estate opportunities in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

PETALING JAYA (March 25): Real Estate and Housing Developers Association (Rehda) Selangor, which aims to make homeownership accessible for all homebuyers in Klang Valley, expects at least RM350 million in sales at the upcoming Malaysian Property Expo (Mapex) Selangor 2024.

Rehda Selangor chairman Datuk Zaini Yusoff said that Mapex Selangor 2024 will bring the latest offerings of real estate opportunities in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

Prices cater to a wide spectrum, starting as low as RM250,000 for affordable houses and extending to high-end projects priced at RM2.5 million.

“Hopefully, this year Mapex will be a success for everyone, because we want everyone to own a home,” Zaini said at the Mapex Selangor 2024 press conference on Monday.

Rehda Selangor is expecting at least 5% or RM350 million worth of properties to be sold from the total RM4.8 billion of properties on sale at the three-day expo.

“We are targeting more but the 5% (RM350 million sales) will be a conservative figure,” he explained.

He noted that Rehda Selangor is also the largest state branch, consisting over 370 members out of 1,500 Rehda members nationwide, comprising developers in the country.

“We are the biggest branches [among the Rehda members] — so a lot of big developers, and good properties that we can expect to be exhibited at the Mapex Selangor 2024,” he added.

As of March 18, about 11 property developers have confirmed their participation in Mapex Selangor 2024, including Chin Hin Group Bhd, Glomac Bhd, Hillcrest Gardens Sdn Bhd, Huges Development Sdn Bhd, JRK Group, KLK Land Bhd, Mahsing Bhd, Malton Bhd, Platinum Victory Development Sdn Bhd, Trinity Group Sdn Bhd and UEM Sunrise Bhd.

Project locations span across prominent areas including Ampang, Bandar Kinrara, Bangi, Bangsar, Bukit Jalil, Jalan Kuching, Kepong, KLCC, Puchong, Salak Tinggi, Seri Kembangan, Setapak, Sg Besi and Sungai Buloh.

“Various property types are featured, ranging from apartments, condominiums, double-storey terraces, landed and high-rise properties, offices suites, semi-detached houses, serviced apartments, serviced residences, two-storey cluster homes, to triple-storey terraces,” he said.

Mapex Selangor 2024 is scheduled to take place from April 26-28 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
