Rehda Selangor reappoints Datuk Zaini Yusoff as chairman

• Datuk Edward Chong Sin Kiat of Shah Alam 2 Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of IJM Land Bhd, has been reappointed as deputy chairman after the annual general meeting on May 21.

KUALA LUMPUR (May 27): S P Setia Bhd (KL:SPSETIA) chief operating officer Datuk Zaini Yusoff (pictured) has been reappointed as chairman of the Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association Malaysia (Rehda) Selangor Branch for the term of 2024-2026.

Meanwhile, Datuk Edward Chong Sin Kiat of Shah Alam 2 Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of IJM Land Bhd, has been reappointed as deputy chairman after the annual general meeting on May 21, according to a media statement issued on Monday.

"I am honoured by the trust placed in me by our members. Together with our capable committee, we will continue to advocate for policies that benefit our industry and support sustainable development in Selangor," said Zaini.

Echoing similar sentiments, Chong said he is looking forward to working with the new committee to address the challenges faced by the real estate industry and to drive initiatives that will benefit Redha members and the broader community. Chong is also the chief financial officer of IJM Corp Bhd (KL:IJM).
