KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 12): Singapore-based Oxley Holdings Ltd via a subsidiary, Artisan Hospitality Sdn Bhd, has formed a joint venture with Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) to open The Langham, Kuala Lumpur hotel at the Oxley Towers KLCC mixed development in 2027.

According to a press statement on Monday, The Langham, Kuala Lumpur will have 189 guest rooms and suites, and come with amenities such as a sky pool, Hong Kong’s three Michelin-star T’ang Court, a bar, Palm Court eatery, fitness centre, banquet halls and meeting rooms.

“We are excited to collaborate with Langham Hospitality Group, a trusted name in the hospitality industry. Our partnership will not only introduce a spectacular hotel to Oxley Towers, but an elevated luxury brand in The Langham. This will strengthen the development’s position as a premier destination for business and leisure travellers,” said Oxley Holdings executive chairman and chief executive officer Ching Chiat Kwong.

“We look forward to bringing our flagship brand to Kuala Lumpur, a gateway city in a thriving part of the world that is also home to a nearby robust travel market. The Langham, Kuala Lumpur will be a telling symbol of our vision to craft iconic, world-class hotels in Southeast Asia and beyond,” said LHG chief executive officer Bob van den Oord.

The Langham, Kuala Lumpur will be LHG’s third hotel in the Southeast Asian region. The other two hotels are in Jakarta, Indonesia, and an upcoming one in Bangkok, Thailand.
