• UEM Sunrise CEO Sufian Abdullah said HomeClick aims to provide an innovative and seamless experience by integrating the core aspects of the property purchase process, including loan application.

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 12): UEM Sunrise Bhd has launched HomeClick, a new online platform that aims to simplify and digitise the homebuying process for its customers.

Available through UEM Sunrise’s website, the property developer said HomeClick will streamline the process of homebuying in various aspects by allowing users to take virtual tours, reserve desired units, check their loan eligibility, and apply for home financing on a single online platform.

“HomeClick is the first comprehensive, end-to-end, online property buying experience from a property development company. With the launch of HomeClick, UEM Sunrise is redefining the homebuying experience by empowering our customers with a digitalised approach that brings ease and transparency to every step of the journey.

“This platform is a commitment to evolving with our customers' needs, by making homeownership not only digitally accessible, but seamless and efficient,” said UEM Sunrise CEO Sufian Abdullah.

The official unveiling of HomeClick was held today at the Kiara Bay sales gallery for Residensi ZIG, an upcoming project by the developer. HomeClick is currently available for potential buyers of Residensi ZIG.

Sufian also said there will be upcoming plans to expand on the company’s digital offerings for homebuyers.

“This is the beginning of a number of exciting things. Our product development team is crafting a new approach to customising and purchasing [properties], and you will see that becoming a part of our future launches very soon.

“We have been working hard behind the scenes, to offer a full repository of modules and design applications that we can use for our products, which can be integrated into the digital buying experience as well,” Sufian said during his welcome speech for the event.

Additionally, UEM Sunrise has partnered with Maybank to integrate the latter’s Home2u financing tool with HomeClick.

“Home2u by Maybank is a digital initiative that offers a variety of mortgage-related products and services, to help potential homeowners purchase their dream properties. Our partnership addresses a common conundrum faced by prospective homebuyers, and that is the perception that homeownership is a complex, time-consuming journey. Together, we are committed to making homeownership a reality for Malaysians,” said Maybank group CEO of community financial services Syed Ahmad Taufik Albar.
