Matrix Concepts group MD Ho Kong Soon to step down on April 1

• Ho has been Matrix Concepts' group MD since Sept 1, 2018. Prior to that, he was the deputy group MD for six years.

KUALA LUMPUR (March 26): Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd’s (KL:MATRIX) long-serving group managing director Ho Kong Soon, (pictured) 58, is resigning to pursue personal endeavours.

He leaves after a 27-year stint with the company.

In a filing with the local bourse, the company said his resignation as a director and the group MD takes effect on April 1.

Ho has been Matrix Concepts' group MD since Sept 1, 2018. Prior to that, he was the deputy group MD for six years.

He owns a 0.39% direct and a 3.14% indirect interest in the company.  

Ho joined Matrix Concepts as a director and general manager of the group in 1997, a year after Matrix Concepts was established.

Matrix Concepts’ share price was down 1.45% or two sen to RM1.36 on Wednesday morning, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM2.55 billion.

The stock is down 14.64% this year.
