KUALA LUMPUR (May 2): Sentoria Group Bhd (KL:SNTORIA) is at risk of a trading suspension after failing to submit its 2024 annual report by the April 30, 2025 deadline.

The company now has until May 8 to issue the report, or face suspension of its shares on Bursa Malaysia, beginning 9.00am on May 9 until further notice, according to a notice on Bursa Malaysia.

On April 30, Sentoria said the delay was due to ongoing financial challenges, including several demand letters, legal proceedings, and receivership actions, which the company said have severely strained its resources and impacted its ability to meet reporting obligations.

Sentoria also cited a shortage of qualified accounting personnel as a contributing factor, noting that financial constraints have prevented it from hiring the necessary staff to complete and finalise its audited financial statements.

Shares of Sentoria were unchanged at one sen at midday trading break on Friday. The company’s market capitalisation now stands at only RM6.1 million.
