Jesselton International announces The V by Jesselton waterfront project in Likas Bay

KUALA LUMPUR (May 9): Jesselton International Sdn Bhd has introduced The V by Jesselton, a new mixed-use development in Likas Bay, Kota Kinabalu, that will occupy a 10-acre coastal site and incorporate residential, commercial and office components. Further details on the project are forthcoming.

Located near the Sabah International Convention Centre, Likas Bay beach park, Stadium Likas, the Floating Mosque, and Kinabalu Wetland, the development will also connect to a 7km cycling and jogging track. According to the company, the design draws from natural elements, with an emphasis on integrating the built environment with its surroundings.

“This is more than just a development. It’s a statement about leading the next chapter of Kota Kinabalu Northern Region development,” said Jesselton International executive chairman Tan Sri David Chu. “Following the success of Jesselton Twin Towers, we knew our next project had to be bold—not just in height, but in how it reshapes the way people live, work and connect with the bay.”

The V by Jesselton units have an estimated selling price from RM650 psf. The developer is targeting a range of buyers, including first-time homeowners and investors.

The project is expected to include seafront suites, retail outlets, wellness areas and office spaces. Concept visuals suggest a focus on open-air layouts and architectural forms influenced by movement and flow. Public registration is currently open.

Jesselton International, previously known as Jesselton Group, is based in Kota Kinabalu and has been involved in several developments in Sabah, including Jesselton Residences, Jesselton Mall and the Jesselton Twin Towers.
