PETALING JAYA (May 22): Advancecon Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM47.5 million subcontract from Mujur Minat Sdn Bhd for the construction and completion of the proposed Gerbil Data Centre in Bandar Springhill, Port Dickson.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the group said the project awarded on behalf of Messrs Gamuda Bhd is scheduled for completion by Aug 30, 2025.

Advancecon Infra is primarily involved in earthworks, civil engineering services and the sale of construction materials.

The company noted that the subcontract carries no significant risks beyond the usual operational challenges during the contract period.

The subcontract expected to contribute positively to the group’s future earnings and will not affect its share capital or the shareholdings of substantial shareholders.

Funding will be drawn from internally generated funds and/or external borrowings.
