KUALA LUMPUR (May 27): Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd, the master developer of Kwasa Damansara, is partnering with Educ8 Group to develop an education facility spanning 11.6 acres in Kwasa Damansara, Selangor.

This follows the recent signing of a Sale and Purchase Agreement between Kwasa Land and ECM Kwasa Damansara Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Educ8, for the acquisition of the 11.6 acres of land in Kwasa Damansara, according to a media statement issued today.

“As we continue to build Kwasa Damansara into a thriving green, connected and inclusive township, education plays a central role in our vision. The education facilities to be built within the township are not just an asset to the community—they are a transformative element that will attract families, promote lifelong learning and support the township’s long-term aspirations,” said Kwasa Land managing director Datuk Adenan Md Yusof in the statement.

He added that the partnership is part of the company’s commitment to accelerating the development of the township. “We started off the year by tendering out several prime residential plots totalling close to 200 acres. Concurrently, our infrastructure work is progressing steadily to support the holistic growth of Kwasa Damansara.”

The upcoming education facility will accommodate at least 1,500 students and complement the township’s earmarked public school plots.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to establish our next educational campus in such a strategic and vibrant location. The new development will provide an exceptional learning environment for families within the Kwasa Land master development and those residing in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, reinforcing our commitment to delivering the highest standards of education in Malaysia,” said Educ8 CEO Mark Lankester in the statement.

Located between Petaling Jaya and Shah Alam, Kwasa Damansara is a transit-oriented township with access to two MRT lines, two KTM Komuter stations and six major highways. The 2,257-acre township will include 25,000 housing units, 10,000 of which are affordable, and 250 acres of green space across nine parks.

To date, Kwasa Land has to-date inked collaborations with 13 development partners who have been granted development rights for 780 acres of land within the township. This constitutes 59% of the saleable land (1,331 acres) within Kwasa Damansara, with a gross development value of close to RM40 billion.
