• All other segments recorded revenue growth except for the engineering services segment, which declined due to progression in the completion stage of ongoing engineering projects.

KUALA LUMPUR (May 30): AME Elite Consortium Bhd (KL:AME) on Friday reported a 40.11% increase in net profit for its fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 (4QFY2025), mainly driven by higher revenue from its construction services segment.

Net profit increased to RM36.54 million from RM26.08 million a year earlier, according to the Johor-based industrial property developer's exchange filing.

Quarterly revenue rose 36.33% to RM115.64 million from RM84.82 million.

Revenue from its construction services segment tripled to RM35.83 million from RM11.53 million in 4QFY2024, amid progress in ongoing project completions.

All other segments recorded revenue growth except for the engineering services segment, which declined due to progression in the completion stage of ongoing engineering projects.

The company declared a second interim dividend of three sen per share, down from four sen last year, bringing the total dividend for the year to six sen. The dividend will be paid on July 4.

For the full financial year, AME Elite’s net profit dipped 1.09% to RM92.09 million from RM93.10 million in FY2024, mainly due to lower contributions from the property development segment and a higher share of losses from equity-accounted joint ventures. Annual revenue declined 15.10% to RM608.57 million from RM716.88 million previously.

The company said it expects to deliver a satisfactory financial performance for FY2026.

It noted that Johor's industrial property sector is expected to stay active, driven by major infrastructure projects like the Johor Bahru-Singapore RTS, the potential revival of the KL-Singapore HSR and the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone.

The company said it remains focused on developing i-TechValley at the SILC Industrial Park in Johor, which is expected to boost profitability.

Additionally, AME Elite' joint venture with Majestic Gen Sdn Bhd, Suling Hill Development Sdn Bhd, will lead the Northern TechValley @ BKE project in Penang.

The planned land acquisition from Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd (KL:KLK), set for completion in FY2026, will further support the company’s long-term growth strategy, the company added.

AME Elite’s shares closed up one sen or 0.6% to RM1.61 on Friday, valuing the group at RM1.03 billion. Year to date, the stock has declined 5.29%.
