KUALA LUMPUR (June 11): Global hospitality technology company OYO has introduced SUNDAY Hotel in Malaysia, with simultaneous launches in Kuala Lumpur and Pantai Cenang, Langkawi.
SUNDAY Hotel in Kuala Lumpur is located near the Petronas Twin Towers, while SUNDAY Hotel in Pantai Cenang is located 10km from Langkawi International Airport, and is a five-minute walk from Cenang Beach.
"We have been inspired by the global acclaim of SUNDAY Hotels and have worked diligently over the past year to identify properties that align with our vision of delivering memorable stays," said OYO Malaysia country business and operations head Raymond Chen.
OYO plans to launch 10 more SUNDAY hotels in Malaysia this year, identifying popular tourist destinations like Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang island, Kuantan, and Kota Kinabalu for further expansion.
Each of the SUNDAY Hotels has a dedicated team of highly trained hospitality professionals that ensure personalised services for every guest, with staff available 24/7 to cater to guests’ needs. Each hotel also features high-speed Wi-Fi, flatscreen TVs, in-room dining, mini-bars, and premium toiletries.
This expansion is part of OYO’s ongoing strategy to broaden its premium property footprint worldwide, following the successful launches of SUNDAY Hotels in India, Saudi Arabia, the UK, and Dubai.
