KUALA LUMPUR (July 9): Econpile Holdings Bhd (KL:ECONPILE) has secured a RM27 million contract for piling and pile cap works at a serviced apartment project in Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya.

The job, awarded by Bayu Melati Sdn Bhd to Econpile’s wholly owned subsidiary Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd, is scheduled for completion within 12 months starting July 14.

In a bourse filing, Econpile said the project is expected to contribute positively to its revenue and earnings from the financial year ending June 30, 2026 onwards.

The latest win follows the group’s RM57.94 million in contracts last week for construction works and material supply for a proposed development in Ara Damansara, Selangor.

As at end-March, Econpile’s order book stood at RM404 million.

Shares of Econpile closed 1.5 sen or 4.23% higher at 37 sen on Wednesday, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM524.48 million.
