Paramount launches sustainable township Embun Hills in Bukit Mertajam

• The township integrates residential, recreational and commercial elements, with infrastructure designed to incorporate solar energy, responsible waste management and the conservation of water and biodiversity.

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 4): Paramount Property has officially launched Paramount Embun Hills, a 69.2-acre freehold, gated-and-guarded township in Bukit Mertajam, marking its third development in Penang.

The township integrates residential, recreational and commercial elements, with infrastructure designed to incorporate solar energy, responsible waste management and the conservation of water and biodiversity.

The launch took place at Paramount’s sales gallery in Icon City on Sunday (Aug 3) and was officiated by Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow.

Also present were Paramount Corporation Bhd (KL:PARAMON) group chief executive officer Jeffrey Chew, Paramount Property CEO Chee Siew Pin, Paramount Property northern region CEO Wang Chong Hwa, and Bukit Tambun assemblyman Goh Choon Aik.

Chew said the group remained confident in Penang’s prospects and aimed to support community needs while contributing to local economic growth.

“The progression of our projects in Penang over the past decade reflects our strong confidence in this dynamic and high-potential region. Leveraging our expertise in township planning, we aim to meet the evolving needs of the community while contributing to the growth of the local economy. With Paramount Embun Hills, we envision a township where families choose to build their future and where businesses can flourish,” he said.

Paramount Embun Hills will be developed over four years and has a gross development value of RM460 million.

The site is located along Jalan Kulim, at the foothills of the Bukit Mertajam rainforest reserve.

This follows the success of Utropolis Batu Kawan and Paramount Palmera in Batu Kawan and Bukit Minyak, respectively.
