KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 14): IJM Land, the property division of IJM Corporation Bhd (KL:IJM), has commenced the handover of commercial units at IKON @ Centrio (pictured) in Seremban 2. The handover will be carried out in phases.

“With the completion of IKON @ Centrio, Seremban 2 is advancing as a key commercial destination within the expansive Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 (MVV2) corridor,” said IJM Land chief operating officer Datuk Chai Kian Soon.

“As major investments continue to flow into Negeri Sembilan, we foresee a rising influx of skilled professionals and investors seeking a township that offers modern city living, doorstep conveniences, security and seamless accessibility."

IKON @ Centrio spans 26.8 acres and comprises two- and three-storey lifestyle shop units, with sizes ranging from 3,537 to 7,305 sq ft. The project is designed to accommodate businesses in F&B, retail, healthcare, education and other service sectors.

Seremban 2 is home to over 60,000 residents and serves a wider catchment of more than 100,000 people.

A residential counterpart, IKON Residences, is slated for soft launch in the third quarter of 2025. The 44-storey freehold development opposite IKON @ Centrio has an estimated gross development value of RM380 million.

Together, both developments aim to create an integrated commercial-residential precinct within Seremban 2.

The township is accessible via the North-South Expressway, ELITE and LEKAS highways, which supports regional access to Kuala Lumpur, the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and neighbouring districts.
