KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 28): Inta Bina Group Bhd (KL:INTA) clinched a RM67.79 million contract on Thursday to undertake the construction of houses in Cyberjaya.

The project, located at Persiaran Simfoni in Symphony Hills, Cyber 9, involves the construction of 64 semi-detached houses measuring 36 by 80 ft and four semi-detached houses measuring 37 by 80 ft.

The job is scheduled to commence on Aug 29, with a completion period of 20 months ending on April 28, 2027, according to Inta Bina’s bourse filing.

Inta Bina said the contract, awarded by Symphony Hills Sdn Bhd, will be funded via internally generated funds and external borrowings, and is expected to contribute positively to its earnings over the duration of the project.

Earlier this month, Inta Bina bagged a RM264.5 million contract to build two serviced apartment blocks in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur, awarded by GDP Architects Sdn Bhd on behalf of 368 Segambut Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between IJM Land Bhd and FCW Holdings Bhd.

As at end-March, Inta Bina’s unbilled order book stood at RM1.5 billion from its construction segment, alongside unbilled sales of RM90 million from property development, providing earnings visibility for the next two to three years.

Shares of Inta Bina closed unchanged at 42.5 sen on Thursday, with a market capitalisation of RM260.4 million.
