KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 13): Citaglobal Bhd’s property arm, Citaglobal Property Development Sdn Bhd, has launched D’Marina Bayu which is Phase 2B of Residensi D’Marina on Oct 11—marking Pahang’s first solar-ready residential development.

Developed in partnership with Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA), the project forms part of a larger township designed to promote sustainable and connected living. Strategically located near the Tanjung Lumpur and Putra Bridges, Residensi D’Marina integrates nature, urban convenience, and green technology.

In a media release on Monday, Citaglobal stated that each home in Phase 2B is equipped with solar-ready infrastructure, enabling homeowners to install rooftop panels and potentially reduce electricity costs by up to 60%. The project also includes Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) connectivity and Smart Home-ready systems to enhance digital accessibility.

Phase 1 of the township, comprising 523 terrace homes, was completed in December 2023, while Phase 2A—featuring 136 units—was completed in May 2025 and fully sold. The newly launched Phase 2B includes 120 double-storey terrace homes, with completion targeted for December 2026. Subsequent phases (2C to 2F), totalling 507 units, are in the planning stage.

“The integration of solar-ready features in D’Marina underscores Citaglobal’s commitment to accelerating a clean energy future for Malaysia, empowering residents to enjoy long-term energy savings while supporting the nation’s transition towards renewable and low-carbon community development,” said Citaglobal's executive chairman and president, Tan Sri Dr Mohamad Norza Zakaria.
