With 15 years of experience, Ivan Wong is a veteran of the real estate industry. His career began at the impressive age of 22, when he closed his very first property sale: a house valued at RM1.1 million, earning him a substantial 3% commission. That initial success set the tone for a career built on hard work and dedication.

Ivan’s biggest breakthrough moment, which unlocked his millionaire journey, was not a single transaction but a consistent mindset. He believes that his success came from focusing on every client's needs and valuing every deal, no matter its size.

“I never treated any deal as small, and I made sure each client felt valued. That’s what built my reputation, and that’s what brought in consistent referrals and repeat business,” he shared.

His daily performance is driven by a simple but powerful routine designed to maintain momentum. He has three core habits he follows diligently every day.

Wake up early, meet clients for coffee, and follow up on past cases.

These small actions, done daily, are what keep my momentum going,” he explained. He also emphasizes the importance of managing emotions and treating everyone with respect, which he sees as the foundation of building lasting relationships.

Ivan considers 2014 his most challenging year, a period he describes as his “lowest point” due to complacency. He was earning well and believed it would last forever, but a market downturn served as a crucial wake-up call that he is now grateful for. This experience solidified a key belief that drives him forward.

“Success comes from persistence, not luck,” he stated.

For Ivan, there are no shortcuts to success. He offers straightforward advice to younger agents, urging them to focus on genuine effort over quick gains.

“No shortcuts. No lies. Just real work and real results,” he said.

His definition of success has evolved beyond personal numbers, now including the growth of his team and the satisfaction of his clients. He is driven to achieve even more.

“I know there’s more in me! I just need to keep pushing forward. I want 2 mil next year, and stated “My goal is simple: happy clients, and a team that keeps growing together".

Ultimately, his legacy is a testament to the power of a happy team and satisfied clients.
