Angel Tan’s career in real estate spans 11 years, beginning with the sale of a sub-sale residential property in Puchong. That initial transaction served as the foundation for her journey. Since then, she has evolved from a determined individual agent into a respected team leader, now guiding a group of 50 agents. For her, the path to a million-dollar career was about much more than just personal ambition.
Angel's biggest breakthrough moment came with a pivotal mindset shift from focusing on individual success to empowering others. This change was the key to unlocking her millionaire journey.
“I achieved my first RM100k by focusing on myself as an individual salesperson, but my first RM500k and RM1 million were achieved by building my team. The moment I started thinking about others, my results skyrocketed,” she explained.
Her performance today is driven by her ability to lead by example. She prioritizes consistency and discipline, believing these are the non-negotiables for success. Angel positions herself not just as an agent but as a trusted solution provider, offering full-fledged service to her clients.
“I had to adapt and upskill myself, that period allowed me to develop new systems that I am still using today,” she said. Like many in the industry, her most challenging period was during the MCO, but she saw it as an opportunity rather than a setback.

With that core belief, her advice to younger agents is rooted in this experience. She tells them to stay hungry, humble, consistent and no matter what, never stop learning,” she urged.
Angel’s definition of success has also changed. It has evolved from being about personal achievement to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
“Success is no longer just about personal achievement for me; it’s about making a positive impact on the lives of others,” she said.
She aims to be remembered as a mentor who helped others build their own successful careers and achieve a better life and her legacy to empower the next generation of leaders in this industry and help them achieve a better life.
