Elainne Phang’s career began a decade ago with a simple single-storey terrace house sale. For Elainne , the biggest breakthrough on his millionaire journey came when he transitioned from pure hustle to strategic leadership. After reaching his first RM500,000, she knew she had to change his approach.
“The leap to my first million came when I shifted my mindset from just being an ‘agent’ to being a ‘real estate professional and leader,’” she explained.
This new perspective focused on building long-term client trust, handling high-value properties, and mentoring others. Her daily performance is built on discipline and time management. She prioritizes her day with important tasks in the morning and reserves evenings for family and personal life.
In a competitive market, her brand is built on authenticity and delivering real value. This approach is what allows her to build long-term trust.
“Trust is built by putting the client’s interest above the transaction. Sometimes that means advising them not to buy or sell if the timing isn’t right,” she revealed.
One of her most challenging years was when the market slowed down and deals were scarce, testing her patience and belief. However, she persevered, driven by the knowledge that her purpose was to serve. Her approach to personal branding and referrals is based on consistency and a "service mindset," which has been the foundation of lifelong relationships.
The sacrifices of late nights, weekends, and personal time as necessary trade-offs.
“Looking back, I don’t see sacrifices, I see investments in the life I wanted to build,” she said.
“For me, legacy isn’t measured by the number of properties I’ve sold, but by the lives I’ve touched, the families I’ve helped, the careers I’ve shaped, and the future leaders I’ve inspired,” she concluded.
Success to her has also evolved from personal income to the impact she has on others. She hopes to be remembered as someone who empowered others to achieve their own success.
