SUBANG JAYA (Nov 1): About 300 participants turned up for OFFLINE 16 Coffee Rave + Halloween Fun Walk held at the Tropicana Metropark Property Gallery and its 9.2-acre Urban Park today.

OFFLINE 16 is the brainchild of VitaHealth Malaysia with strong support from Tropicana Corporation Bhd.

The event has the mission of championing mental and physical wellness among Malaysians.

This year, OFFLINE 16 has attracted 1,620 participants across eight editions in Malaysia and Singapore.

The final and eighth edition is the coffee rave and Halloween Walk today.

The event kicked off at 7am with registrations, an event brief, a warmup exercise by Anytime Fitness, a 2km fun walk, followed by the coffee rave, carnival games, and a food bazaar. Each participant was presented with goodies worth RM300, such as a canvas bag, VitaHealth and Herbs of Gold supplements, Guardian products, Skechers shoe bag, Anessa sunscreen, coffee and pastry vouchers, and the chance to walk away with prizes worth up to RM15,000 from the lucky draw.

“Offline 16 started last year as a simple idea, to create a space where people can take a break from screens, be fully present and make time for self-care. It has since grown into a movement that focuses on mental wellness and genuine human connection.

“Coffee rave is the latest addition to this journey, bringing people together over coffee, lively beats, and positive energy. We’re happy to see 300 enthusiastic participants unplug and have fun, closing the 2025 series with smiles, laughter, and good vibes,” said Dr KS Beh, CEO of VitaHealth (Malaysia & Singapore) and founder of OFFLINE 16.

Serena Lim, senior general manager, Group Corp Comm & ESG of Tropicana and senior committee member of Tropicana Foundation, said: “At Tropicana, our mission has always been to create sustainable, liveable townships that truly support the people who call them home.”

“To us, ESG isn’t just about the environment or governance—it’s about people, too. OFFLINE 16 perfectly embodies this vision, proving that our commitment extends beyond buildings; it’s about fostering spaces where communities can unplug, reconnect, and care for their well-being together,” she added.

Also collaborating at the event was Guardian Health and Beauty Sdn Bhd. “Guardian is proud to be part of VitaHealth's OFFLINE 16 event, which shines a spotlight on the importance of mental wellness and healthy living. In today's fast-paced world, it's more vital than ever to create moments and spaces where people can pause, reconnect with themselves, and embrace holistic wellbeing,” said Anna Ng, marketing director of Guardian Health and Beauty.

OFFLINE 16 aims to raise awareness by making preventive mental wellness simple, practical, and accessible through real-world experiences that encourage people to unplug, reconnect, and build healthy habits.

Heavy “screen use” has been linked to anxiety, depression, and social isolation.
