KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 3): IJM Land Bhd has recorded full take-up for all non-Bumiputera shopoffice units at ArcPoint and a 90% take-up rate for Maison Parc semi-detached homes at launch, reflecting renewed investor and homebuyer confidence in Johor’s property market.

According to a press release on Monday, the developer said the projects are part of the Austin Duta township in Johor Bahru’s northern corridor, a 250-acre freehold development launched in 2015.

ArcPoint comprises 42 double-storey shopoffices and is designed as the commercial centrepiece of the township. The project features a distinctive curved layout and selected intermediate units with frontages of up to 32ft, aimed at enhancing visibility and supporting retail, F&B and professional services.

Maison Parc, a French-inspired collection of 60 semi-detached homes, was launched alongside ArcPoint and achieved 90% take-up for non-Bumiputera units.

Each residence offers a lot size of 40ft by 80ft and built-up of 3,085 sq ft, with four bedrooms, five bathrooms and a private garden.

IJM Land's senior general manager of Southern Region and East Malaysia Soh Wai Fong said the response to ArcPoint highlights continued appetite for well-planned, strategically located business spaces.

“The response to ArcPoint reaffirms our belief that well-planned, strategically located projects will continue to anchor Johor’s next phase of growth,” said Soh.

“Austin Duta has evolved into a township with its own rhythm where homes, commerce and lifestyle are coming together in a way that sustains long-term growth.”

The final phase of Austin Duta is expected to launch in 2026, completing the township’s master plan with a balanced mix of residential and commercial components.
