Techbond buys 3 industrial plots in Eco Business Park 7 for RM27.76mil

PETALING JAYA (Nov 5): Techbond Group Bhd is acquiring three parcels of industrial land in Eco Business Park 7, Negeri Sembilan, for a total of RM27.76 million.

According to its exchange filing yesterday, the seller, Eco Business Park 7 Sdn Bhd, is a joint venture between Eco World Development Group Bhd (55%), SD Guthrie Land Ventures Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of SD Guthrie Bhd (30%), and NS Corp (15%).

The three parcels Lots 3003, 3004, and 3005 were bought at RM70, RM70.02, and RM72.03 per sq ft respectively (equivalent to RM753.47, RM753.69, and RM775.28 per sq m), for RM9.15 million, RM9.17 million, and RM9.44 million. The sizes of the parcels were not disclosed.

The lands, located at SME 3, Eco Business Park 7, Mukim Jimah, Daerah Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, are free from encumbrances, charges, liens, and caveats.

Techbond said the acquisitions will be funded through a combination of cash and internal funds. While the plots may serve as an investment in the near term, the company views them as strategic assets offering flexibility for future development or operational relocation.

The acquisition aims to enhance operational efficiency and ensure continuity in production and distribution over the long term.
