The true shift in Lucas Liew, real estate career began when he stopped viewing himself merely as an agent and started positioning himself as a relationship builder. “The turning point that helped me move from a steady agent to a high performer was when I shifted my mindset from just completing transactions to truly building relationships and adding value beyond the sale. That change in focus transformed how clients trusted and referred me,” he shared.

Change didn’t just transform his results, it redefined his purpose.

Lucas began to see real estate as a partnership built on trust, not just a business driven by numbers. Each year, he sets clear and measurable goals that align with personal growth, client impact, and business outcomes. His process begins with reflection reviewing what worked, what didn’t, and where improvement is needed. From there, he breaks down his annual goals into smaller, actionable steps, tracked quarterly and monthly to ensure steady progress.

He remains accountable by consistently reviewing his numbers and staying connected with a few trusted peers and mentors who keep him aligned with his commitments.

Keenly aware that every client has unique needs, Lucas sets himself apart through sincerity and attention to detail.

“My biggest differentiator is how deeply I commit to understanding each client’s unique situation and goals. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions whether they’re buying, selling, or investing, I take the time to listen, strategize, and guide them as if I were advising a close friend or family member,” he said.

His ability to stay consistent, even during market slowdowns, is what keeps his momentum strong year after year.

It’s about sharpening both the business side and the human side, staying consistent, staying humble, and always staying hungry to improve.

Starting his career with a focus on Mont Kiara, Lucas has since expanded his portfolio to include residential sales across Desa ParkCity, Mont Kiara, and KLCC. His clientele today ranges from first-time homebuyers to high-end investors, many of whom return for multiple transactions or refer others through word-of-mouth.

Mentorship, training, and networking have played a major role in shaping his mindset. Learning from experienced mentors gave him the clarity, confidence, and resilience to think long-term and overcome challenges along the way.
