KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 4): Eco Business Park VII (EBP7), Eco World Development Group Bhd's (KL:ECOWLD) latest integrated industrial hub in Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 (MVV 2.0), has secured early investor commitments with the signing of sale and purchase agreements with Techbond Group Bhd (KL:TECHBND) and I Jaya Management Sdn Bhd.

The park also formalised a memorandum of understanding with Tian Tian Chu Hai (China) to promote EBP7 to Chinese investors and enterprises.

In a Dec 3 press statement, EcoWorld deputy chief executive officer Liew Tian Xiong said the signings reinforce market confidence in the park’s long-term prospects.

“Businesses need more than physical space. They need an ecosystem that supports innovation, collaboration and long-term growth—and EBP7 is built precisely with this vision in mind,” he said.

Following the milestone signings, guests and industry players attended the EcoWorld Connects: Business Ascend Forum—a half-day engagement that brought together business leaders for discussions on industrial transformation, AI-driven competitiveness and Asean trade opportunities.

The forum was officiated by Negeri Sembilan state executive council member Teo Kok Seong, who said developments like EBP7 play a vital role in attracting investment and creating high-value jobs in the state.

EBP7 was developed through a public–private partnership between EcoWorld, SD Guthrie Land Ventures Sdn Bhd and NS Corp. It spans 1,195 acres of freehold land in Bukit Pelandok, Mukim Jimah, Port Dickson. With an estimated gross development value of RM3 billion, it is strategically positioned within MVV 2.0’s industrial cluster blueprint.

EBP7 offers ready-built factories and industrial land options designed for fast-growing manufacturers and logistics players. It also includes commercial hubs to serve operational and workforce needs. Targeted sectors include aerospace, electrical and electronics, e-commerce and logistics, halal industries, biotechnology and advanced manufacturing.

Phase 1 of the SME Core introduces cluster factories, semi-detached factories and industrial parcels starting from one to five acres.

The Business Ascend Forum wrapped up with a networking session and a tour of the newly opened EBP7 sales gallery, as EcoWorld continues to build investor engagement ahead of upcoming releases.
