Kerjaya Prospek unit inks RM225 mil building contract in Johor Bahru

• The contract covers the execution and completion of a 50-storey building.

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 12): Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd, has accepted a letter of award from Majestic Gen Sdn Bhd (MGSB) for a building contract in Bandar Johor Bahru, Johor.

In a bourse filing on Friday, the contract, valued at RM225 million, covers the execution and completion of a 50-storey building comprising commercial spaces, recreational facilities, car-parking levels, and 996 service apartment units. 

Key components include basement commercial and M&E facilities, multiple levels of car-parking, recreational floors, and a mezzanine-level commercial unit.

The project along Jalan Lepas, Bandar Johor Bahru, is scheduled to commence on Jan 16, 2026 with a completion timeline of 38 months.

Kerjaya Prospek said that the contract is expected to add to the group’s revenue over the next four years and will contribute to its existing order book. 

The group is of the view that the contract will not affect the company’s issued share capital but is anticipated to support earnings and net assets per share from 2026 to 2029.
