KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 12): Real estate services firm JLL Malaysia announced that its new 10,635-sq ft headquarters at Menara IQ, Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) here, has achieved WELL Certified Gold recognition from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), reflecting a focus on employee wellbeing and environmental sustainability.

In a statement on Friday, this follows the office’s LEED Gold certification in August, making it among the first professional services workspaces in Malaysia to hold both WELL Gold and LEED Gold credentials.

The WELL certification evaluates spaces across 10 key areas: air, water, nourishment, light, movement, thermal comfort, sound, materials, mind, and community.

JLL Malaysia’s office incorporates advanced indoor air quality monitoring, extensive biophilic design with greenery, optimised lighting systems, height-adjustable workstations, and ergonomic setups. Employees also benefit from direct access to TRX City Park, mental health programmes, and spaces designed to support inclusivity, collaboration, and nutrition.

Located in a strategic area with connectivity to mass rapid transit (MRT) and bus networks, the headquarters promotes active commuting, and supports work-life balance while minimising environmental impact.

The WELL Gold award was granted under the WELL Building Standard v2, marking the first JLL office in the Asia Pacific region to meet the enhanced framework.

“Achieving this certification validates our holistic approach to employee wellbeing,” said JLL managing director Jamie Tan.
