AmanahRaya REIT completes RM390m issuance under RM2b medium-term notes programme

• The proceeds will be utilised to fully refinance the MTNs issued under the Tranche 1 Series 1 of the unrated MTN programme of up to RM950 million, and the existing term loan facility granted by Public Bank Bhd in favour of AmanahRaya REIT vide Pacific Trustees Bhd.

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 23): AmanahRaya Real Estate Investment Trust (KL:ARREIT), via ARREIT MTN 1 Sdn Bhd, has completed the first issuance of RM390 million in nominal value of medium-term notes (MTNs) under its MTN programme of up to RM2 billion in nominal value.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Monday, the manager of AmanahRaya REIT, AmanahRaya Kenedix REIT Manager Sdn Bhd, said the proceeds will be utilised to fully refinance the MTNs issued under the Tranche 1 Series 1 of the unrated MTN programme of up to RM950 million, and the existing term loan facility granted by Public Bank Bhd (KL:PBBANK) in favour of AmanahRaya REIT vide Pacific Trustees Bhd.

“The remaining balance will be utilised for working capital purposes,” it added.

AmanahRaya Kenedix said Public Investment Bank Bhd is the principal adviser, lead arranger, and lead manager for the MTN programme.
