PETALING JAYA (Jan 19): Developer WM Senibong Bhd has completed the acquisition of Kews Senibong Sdn Bhd and the landholdings of the Senibong Golf Club from Walker Corporation Pty Ltd.
In a statement on Monday, the acquisition adds approximately 270 acres of prime mixed-use land in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, comprising The Kews parcel and the Senibong Golf Club development lands, valued at RM400 million. The combined site has an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM6 billion.
WM Senibong’s development strategy focuses on a balanced product mix, with 60% landed residential, 20% high-rise developments, and 20% commercial projects. The approach has yielded steady results, with Kews Senibong recording annual sales growth of approximately 25% to 30%, driven primarily by local demand.

The Kews, a 270-acre GreenRE Gold-rated township in Leisure Farm, Iskandar Puteri, offers terrace, cluster, and semi-detached homes designed to integrate with the natural surroundings. Since its 2024 launch, Kew Green 1 sold out within three months, while Kew Green 2 is currently available.
The upcoming Kew Woods phase will feature 260 landed homes. Amenities within the township include a clubhouse, rooftop garden, lake park, and fitness facilities, supporting a lifestyle focused on wellness.
The development benefits from proximity to international schools such as Marlborough College and Raffles American School, healthcare facilities including Gleneagles, Columbia Asia, and the upcoming Sunway Healthcare, as well as lifestyle destinations such as Sunway Iskandar, Eco Botanic, Puteri Harbour, Medini, and Horizon Hills. Connectivity is provided by direct access to Singapore via the Tuas Second Link.
“From 2026 onwards, we expect this development to contribute a double-digit percentage growth in revenue and earnings. Its proximity to established amenities, infrastructure and growth corridors provides a strong foundation for an integrated development. This includes residential, commercial, lifestyle and community components, creating long-term value for both WM Senibong and Johor,” said WM Senibong CEO CK Quay.
