PETALING JAYA (March 18): The Kuala Lumpur stop of the “Until We’re Old, WE ARE ONE” World Tour Concert featuring Hong Kong music icons George Lam and Sally Yeh concluded last Saturday (March 14), drawing fans across generations for an evening celebrating decades of Chinese pop classics.

Held at Axiata Arena, the concert marked the duo’s first joint performance in Malaysia, with attendees responding to a setlist that blended well-known hits with newer material. The performance reflected the artists’ long-standing musical partnership, with their on-stage chemistry and familiarity resonating with fans who have followed their careers over the years.

ParkCity Group participated in the event as a platinum co-sponsor, with many of its homebuyers and residents among those in attendance.

“Music has a unique ability to connect people across generations,” said ParkCity Group group CEO Joseph Lau. He added that creating shared experiences is part of the developer’s broader approach to building liveable communities.

Lifestyle engagement alongside township development

ParkCity Group is known for developing Desa ParkCity, a master-planned township in Kuala Lumpur recognised for its integrated residential and lifestyle environment.

Building on that model, the developer plans to launch two new premium urban townships in the Klang Valley: ParkCity Damansara in Petaling Jaya and ParkCity Botanika in Puchong South.

According to the developer, these projects will build on the planning principles established at Desa ParkCity, focusing on community engagement, connectivity and convenience.

ParkCity said its township developments emphasise long-term liveability and community interaction through integrated planning and placemaking initiatives.

The developer noted that supporting cultural and lifestyle events forms part of its broader approach to creating vibrant neighbourhoods and shared community experiences.
