PETALING JAYA (March 31): Aspen (Group) Holdings Ltd has unveiled its latest residential component, Mezon @ Park Enclave, marking a new development milestone within its flagship Aspen Vision City township in Batu Kawan as it continues to mature into Penang’s southern growth corridor.
Spanning 247 acres of freehold land, Aspen Vision City has evolved into a mixed-use ecosystem totalling 3,398 units comprising a mix of residential, commercial and retail anchors to drive the township's maturity, alongside ongoing and pipeline developments. The township has progressively layered in commercial, healthcare, retail and lifestyle anchors, positioning itself beyond a conventional residential address, the developer said in a press release last week.
Recent additions cited by the group include the IKEA Batu Kawan, Klippa Shopping Centre, and Columbia Asia Hospital Batu Kawan, alongside lifestyle and community infrastructure such as sports facilities and event spaces.
The unveiling last Thursday (March 26) at the Aspen Vision City Sales Gallery in Batu Kawan was officiated by senior management including its executive deputy chairman Datuk Seri Nazir Ariff, group managing director Anilarasu Amaranazan, and chief financial officer Lim Soo Aun, signalling the group’s continued push to deepen its integrated township model.
“In just over a decade, Aspen Vision City has played a pivotal role in redefining Batu Kawan, putting it on the map as a vibrant, connected township. Through strong partnerships and lifestyle-driven developments like Mezon @ Park Enclave, we are shaping a dynamic destination where communities can live, work and thrive,” said Anilarasu in the statement.
The newly unveiled Mezon @ Park Enclave introduces a 47-storey twin-tower serviced residence, comprising 301 units per tower with eight units per floor. Unit layouts range 862–1,410 sq ft, incorporating single-key, dual-key and tri-key formats. The project also integrates ground-floor retail units.
The development is also designed to meet GreenRE Gold standards, said Aspen.
Aspen is differentiating the project through a Japan-inspired design philosophy, incorporating features such as:
The development fronts a 25-acre Central Park, anchoring it within the township’s green spine.
The launch complements Aspen’s ongoing projects within the township:
Mezon @ Park Enclave is located near Batu Kawan Industrial Park and the upcoming Bandar Cassia Technology Park, positioning it to capture housing demand linked to industrial expansion in the area.
Aspen’s broader strategy is to emphasise ecosystem-building over standalone development — integrating residential, commercial and lifestyle components within a single master-planned environment, the announcement said.
To date, the group has launched approximately RM3 billion worth of properties within Aspen Vision City, with the overall township carrying an estimated RM13 billion gross development value.
