
PETALING JAYA (April 1): UDA Holdings Bhd (UDA) has appointed Datuk Seri Ahmad Fuaad Mohd Kenali (pictured) as its chief executive officer, effective today (April 1).
In a statement earlier today, UDA said Ahmad Fuaad is a seasoned corporate leader with more than three decades of experience across the property, automotive, utilities, media, financial services and professional consulting sectors.
He brings expertise in:
*Corporate strategy and long-term planning
*Business transformation and organisational restructuring
*Financial management and operational optimisation
Throughout his career, Ahmad Fuaad has led initiatives focused on:
*Driving sustainable growth and organisational performance
*Implementing business recovery strategies
*Expanding portfolios into new sectors, including renewable energy and environmental services
*Enhancing operational efficiency and financial outcomes
UDA chairman Tan Sri Mohd Annuar Zaini said the board, management and employees welcome the appointment.
He added that Ahmad Fuaad’s extensive experience and proven track record are expected to support UDA in fulfilling its core objectives.
Prior to this appointment, Ahmad Fuaad held several key leadership roles, including:
Group CEO of UMW Holdings Bhd
*CEO of Malakoff Corp Bhd
*CEO of PROTON Holdings Bhd
*CFO of Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd
He also served as a partner at Ernst & Young and held senior leadership roles at DRB-HICOM Bhd and Petaling Garden Bhd.
Commenting on his appointment, Ahmad Fuaad expressed appreciation for the trust placed in him to lead UDA at a pivotal stage.
He said he is committed to:
