TSiC unit gets six-month extension to complete Melaka industrial land acquisition

PETALING JAYA (April 17): TSiC Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary BPE Synergy Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured a further extension to complete its proposed acquisition of two parcels of industrial land in Taman Perindustrian Bukit Rambai, Melaka, for a total cash consideration of RM1.35 million.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing today (April 17), TSiC said both parties have entered into supplemental agreements dated April 17, 2026, extending the completion timelines for both land parcels to October 20, 2026.

Specifically, the completion period for Lot 8063 — held under title GRN37588 — has been extended from April 20, 2026 to Oct 20, 2026. 

For Lot 8065, held under title PM2192, the conditional period has similarly been pushed back from May 25, 2026 to Oct 20, 2026, to allow the vendors sufficient time to secure the requisite state consent as stipulated under the sale and purchase agreement.

TSiC said all other terms and conditions of the original sale and purchase agreements remain unchanged.

The acquisition, first announced on Aug 22, 2025, has been subject to multiple timeline extensions — previously revised on Oct 1, 2025, Oct 17, 2025 and January 16, 2026 — with today marking the fourth extension since the deal was first tabled. 

The delay in Lot 8065 is tied specifically to the pending state consent, a standard regulatory requirement for industrial land transactions in Melaka.

The two land parcels are located at Jalan Nobat 9, Taman Perindustrian Bukit Rambai, 75250 Melaka. BPE Synergy Engineering, a semiconductor and engineering services provider based in Melaka, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TSiC.
