Wereg Properties marks milestone year with up to 100% revenue growth, expansion plans

PETALING JAYA (April 29): Real estate agency Wereg Properties recorded a 50% to 100% increase in sales revenue over the past year, marking a significant milestone in its growth trajectory.

In an interview with EdgeProp, founder and director Ethan Leong said the company achieved remarkable sales revenue growth, with an average increase of 50% to 100%.

"This milestone at Wereg Properties was made possible by each and every one of you who contributed to this success. Today, we are proud to be recognised in the market for our professionalism," he said.

‘Leong was speaking at the agency's 2026 annual dinner held on April 17, themed "Boundless Horizons" — a celebration of growth, resilience and collective progress.

The theme reflected Wereg Properties’ ambition to break barriers and pursue excellence, positioning every challenge as a stepping stone towards stronger performance and higher standards across the organisation.

Key attendees at the event included founder and managing director Wilson Law, alongside leaders, negotiators and management teams from across its branches.

Law highlighted the group’s resilience heading into 2026, emphasising unity and continuous growth despite market challenges.

“We have overcome a challenging 2025, and 2026 may bring even greater tests. One thing is certain — we will emerge stronger together.

“Along the journey, sometimes we earn and sometimes we learn, but what matters is that we keep moving forward,” he said.

Since its establishment in 2019, the company has shifted market perception from a subsale-focused agency to a stronger player in project marketing, driven by record-breaking developer project sales in 2025.

Looking ahead, Wereg Properties is expanding its footprint across its Bukit Jalil headquarters and regional branches in Ipoh, Seremban and Klang, with further expansion into Johor on the horizon. The agency is also scaling into industrial, commercial and international markets through its Wereg Global division.

In line with its forward-looking strategy, the group is also initiating the integration of Agentic AI to enhance automation, training programmes and customer service capabilities, signalling a more tech-driven phase of growth.

Wereg also has a collaboration with EdgeProp to strengthen the branding of the agency.
