PETALING JAYA (May 19): Real estate technology group Juwai IQI gathered hundreds of agents, executives and property professionals from across its global network in Kuala Lumpur on May 13 and 14 for what the company described as its largest international convention to date.
The event brought together participants from Juwai IQI's network spanning 35 countries, as the group celebrated a year in which it transacted US$4.3 billion (about RM17.08 billion) in property globally.
"We have cemented our position as one of the world's most active cross-border real estate networks and property technology companies," said Juwai IQI co-founder and group CEO Kashif Ansari in a press statement today.
The convention, themed "The Rise of Unstoppable Next Gen Warriors", focused on digital branding, artificial intelligence, technology adoption and youth development within the property industry.
Among the headline speakers was Indonesian social media personality Bobby Saputra — widely known online as the "billionaire's son" — who shared insights on digital storytelling and audience building in a session titled "The 1 Billion Views Story: Behind Indonesia's Most Viral Billionaire Son".
The company said Saputra has accumulated more than one billion views and 2.5 million followers across social media platforms.
Juwai IQI co-founder and group managing director Daniel Ho said the convention drew a cross-section of the modern property industry, including agents, developers, marketing professionals, hotel operators, and property management executives.
"The 2026 Juwai IQI International Convention reflects our belief that today's real estate professionals need not just industry-leading skills, but also world-beating technology," he added.
The two-day programme was organised around three core themes — sales, personal branding and content creation, and AI and future technology.
Juwai IQI co-founder, group COO and CIO Nabeel Mungaye spoke on future-proofing agent careers through the company's technology ecosystem, including proprietary AI tools designed to improve productivity and reduce administrative work.
Content Creation Academy co-founder Bryan Low addressed how agents can build personal brands and generate leads through digital platforms.
Younger agents Daris Ooi, Gabriel Khaw and Jayden Ng also took the stage to share their experiences entering the industry without conventional career pathways, citing persistence and creative problem-solving as key drivers of their growth.
The convention marked the formal launch of IQI Youth, a new platform aimed at developing younger agents through four pillars — growth, learning, influence and leadership development.
"Our network is only as strong as the next generation coming into it," Ansari said. "IQI Youth is our commitment to giving new agents the structure, mentorship and tools they need to succeed."
Juwai IQI said it transacted more than 48,000 properties in 2024 and operates a network of more than 65,000 real estate agents across 35 countries.
